Change, grow, live (CGL) provides adult drug and alcohol recovery services across the county in a range of community settings, making treatment more accessible.
18+ support
Individuals can self-refer for support. CGL also take referrals from GPs, other treatment providers, housing providers, probation staff and other professionals working in the sector.

• Advice and self-help information about how to reduce your drinking.
• One-to-one support from a specialist alcohol worker.
• Specialist mental health support.
• Making links with other support services to help sort out any benefit, housing or debt issues.
• Help to access education and employment support if needed.
• Access to recovery focused activities to improve general health and wellbeing.
• Group work sessions such as a Drink Down Group and Motivation Group.

A service that provides a single point of advice, support and treatment online, in person or over the phone.
Staff will then:
• Complete a comprehensive assessment of people’s needs.
• Support individuals through appropriate treatment.
• Support after any treatment(s) to maintain service user’s recovery.
• Offer individuals opportunities to learn and develop.
18+ support
Self-referral or by a third party such as a doctor or a support worker.
Referrals are completed by contacting the service by phone or by email.
